I woke up this morning with a catch in my lower back. For the first time (and only 4 weeks into training) I thought, "maybe I'm too old for this". I ran my scheduled 3 on the treadmill anyway and at a slightly slower pace so I wouldn't aggravate my back. It felt better the more I moved and overall was a decent little run.
Later in the day at work I rotated my left shoulder to try and relax it and felt a major CRUNCH and then my shoulder area started hurting. "What a mess I am" I thought and my mood just got worse.
The good news is today was massage day and my massage guy continues to be AMAZING! He worked with me on stretches as well as the massage. I left there so relaxed mentally and physically.
So, needless to say I'm feeling rejuvenated and back on track! (and not too old!) :)

You are only as old as you think you are. And since you're a lot younger than me, I can attest you are not old! Got to love those massages. Okay, I promise to get up early in the morning to get 6 in to make up for this morning's sleep-in.
