Yesterday afternoon when I got home from work I talked to RB about my number one choice of places to stay on Kiawah Island. I had visited The Sanctuary once before and it's out of this world. It's amazingly fancy with an ocean view and walking distance from the start line. He said, "book it." I was SO worried they wouldn't have a vacancy for marathon weekend but they had a room for us and although pricey it will be perfect for RB to hang out while I'm running (I would hate to be running NYC marathon and he'd have to find some place on the cold streets to hang out for 6 hrs) The room will also be fabulously luxurious for post-race relaxation!
Now that I'm registered, and have a place to stay... I should probably come up with a training plan..
