In contemplating my training schedule for the coming weeks I decided late last night that I need to switch Tuesday and Wednesday. I will now increase my mileage on Tuesday (it gets up to 10 miles!) and Wednesday will stay in the 3-5 mile range. This works out better with my massage in the afternoon on Wednesday. (I didn't want to be forced to run 10 miles on a Wednesday morning and not have the option to save it for the afternoon, which I can now do on Tuesday)
This morning was my first 4-mile Tuesday. I met a friend (aka: another crazy runner willing to get up before 5am to run!) It was SO nice to get this run in and over with for the day. The early morning was dark and made it difficult to read the Garmin so we just went with a pace that felt comfortable. The splits aren't particularly even but I'm pleased with the overall average and really enjoyed this run!
