3 mile wednesday

you could say this was a spontaneous run... late last night I remembered we have plans Wednesday night to see a show so there will not a comfortable amount of time to fit in a run after work and get dolled up for the show. I got up early this morning and hit the treadmill for 3 miles. I really just wanted to do 11 minute miles due to the early hour and just having run less than 12 hours before. But, I also wanted to get it done and get on with my morning so I did speed up a little.

Note: the bottom of both feet ached last night, not sure if it's because I was trying to do a little forefoot running during my 3-miles? I'm hoping it's not onset of plantar fasciitis. Every little ache and pain concerns me now that I'm committed to the full marathon. Good news is feet feel fine this morning.

  1. Neese, keep in mind that unless you have shoes meant for forefoot running that it is going to be very difficult. Regular tennis shoes have to much padding on the heel and will make forefoot running very difficult and very uncomfortable. Be careful! You don't want to trip and hurt yourself!
